Cosmos

Why

This is one of the plants that appeared after planting wildflower seeds. Only two wildflowers showed up, maybe because of the yucca.

Where

This plant is probably not native to my area, although some cosmos plants can be found in a neighboring state to me. It is most common in the southeastern US and Mexico.

What

Cosmos is a genus of flowering plants, and I dont' actually know what specific cosmos plant this is. I do think it's a neat genus name, though, and I also like how it grows - it looks almost like dill to me.
